Work and Experience
Melapress
I am currently a WordPress Plugins & Themes Developer at Melapress, the developers of high-quality WordPress security and admin plugins. Having joined the team on September 15th, 2025, my role here is diverse – ranging from DevOps work, site maintenance, and speed optimization to A/B testing and developing new FSE (Full Site Editing) theme and specialized plugins. My primary focus is enabling editors to create beautiful, functional layouts easily by leveraging the strengths of the WordPress Full Site Editor. Our team is small but carefully chosen, and we truly rely on and support one another. Finally, I would like to thank the owner and CEO, Robert Abela, for his great work and vision, and for welcoming me into the team. 🙏

I spent the majority of my professional career here (over 10 years), transitioning through many roles and handling a wide range of tasks and responsibilities typical of a major company in its field. A huge thank you to Qode and to all the great people I had the pleasure of working with. 🙇

This was a side project with my good friend and I can honestly say, more like a family member – Aleksej Vukomanović. We simply wanted to test how fast we can launch a product and generate revenue using WordPress. We launched a few simple themes and plugins with premium versions, and it worked for a short period. The project is currently stalled because we didn’t create anything meaningful or unique, but you never know, we might kick-start it again in the future.

Although I didn’t spend much time there as I quickly outgrew the part-time position and the workload was light—the customer support experience and culture, established by the original founder, shaped my approach to users and their problems to this day. So, thank you, Charlie Livingston – great work, man. 👏
